Lancaster Sound Breakers Roll Past Martinez Sturgeon 15-2

July 15 2023 The Lancaster Sound Breakers defeated the Martinez Sturgeon 15-2 at The Hangar behind a 17-hit attack. Lancaster scored four runs in the first inning and added another in the second before breaking the game open with four runs in the fourth. The Sound Breakers also scored in the sixth seventh and eighth innings while Martinez managed one run in the seventh and one in the ninth.

Christian Quezada led Lancaster with four hits and six RBI. Evan Antonellis also collected four hits and drove in two runs while Kyle Jenkins went 3-for-5 with four runs scored. Luke Smith had two hits two RBI and two walks and Jacob Jablonski added two hits two RBI and three runs scored. Lancaster totaled 17 hits and 14 RBI in the victory.

Brandon Ross earned the win for Lancaster after allowing four hits and no runs in six innings. He walked six and struck out four. Timothy Carter worked two innings and allowed one run while Brian Blackburn pitched the ninth.

Martinez finished with seven hits. Luke Johnson went 3-for-5 with two runs scored including a triple while Nick Adgar had two hits and one RBI. Harrison Aiken took the loss after six innings in which he allowed 11 hits and 10 runs with five walks and five strikeouts.
